Siyu Fu got his Master of clinical medicine degree in West China School of Medicine, Sichuan University. During his studies, he developed profound interest in viral hepatitis. In the meantime, he started his internal medicine specialty training for 3 years. In 2021, he started his PhD at the department of Gastroenterology and Hepatology under the supervision of Dr. André Boonstra. His current research focuses on the role of DNA methylation in hepatocellular carcinoma.
