Judith Verhagen studied Biopharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Leiden and obtained her PhD degree at the department of Hematology of the Erasmus MC. After her PhD she started as a clinical research associate with the Clinical Research Bureau at the department of Gastroenterology and Hepatology of the Erasmus MC. After a year she was promoted to Clinical Project Manager and in that respect managed several (inter)national clinical trials on HCV and HBV. In 2015, she also started working as a medical writer in order to assist basic and clinical researchers in writing (inter)national research grants, (clinical) study protocols and study reports.
